Partner Portal

A True Partnership

Our Success is based on Relationships: For us to be able to be able to meet the growing and demanding needs of our clients, we must be able to rely on the relationships that we have with our contractors; abstractors, appraisers, attorneys and closing companies. "The whole is greater than the sum of all parts"; we can only achieve our goals and provide service to our clients, if we all work together and believe in the same vision.

We place the same demands on our contractors that we do on our employees; understand what is expected, make a commitment, then execute to the best of your ability. The loyalty, dedication and professionalism of our partners is critical to our continued success.

Notary and Attorney Closer Expectations

Service Level Commitment (SLC): We are committed to providing the most professional and courteous closing service this industry has to offer. As a closer for Data Search, you're our representation in the field and it is your interaction that will leave an impression of Data Search with the customer. Anything less than Positive is unacceptable.

We are committed to setting the closing within two hours of the order being placed. The date and time of the actual closing are always at the convenience of the customer. We are your support and work diligently with the lender to ensure that the documents arrive to you in plenty of time to meet the appointment.

We are your point of contact and provide you with support, regardless of the time, for every closing. It is your responsibility to notify us once the closing has completed or in the event that a problem occurs that could postpone the closing or inhibit your ability to follow the lenders requirements.

Closers are paid to ensure that a specific set of documents are signed correctly and in accordance with the closing instructions, and to represent us in a positive, helpful and professional manner; that is our expectation.

Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL): As a general rule, when conducting a closing for us, you are not to advise the client customer with what would be considered legal advice or provide advice as to the documents they are signing. This is the responsibility of the lender. To do so, unless you are practicing attorney is the unauthorized practice of law. The customer should know and understand the documents that are being signed and if they have any questions or concerns, you should stop and contact our office immediately. We will coordinate a call to the lender to handle any issues the customer may have.

Under no circumstance are you to allow the customer to sign any document that they are not comfortable signing or have questions about. All issues must be resolved prior to them signing the documents. This is a general policy that we strictly adhere to.

We ask that you take pride in what you do. Be professional and courteous, do what you say you will do and then stand behind it. We truly appreciate those that can meet our standards.
